New nails...I have been so busy with work and school this week that I haven't had a chance to post my nails for the week.

I really need to start cleaning up my nails before I snap pictures...and get a steady hand lol.

Its different...I like it. I have gotten a few compliments.

CHEERS!
Its been over a week since I last undated. I have still be doing my nails, but I have been so busy between returning to college and working. Last week (July 18th to the 24th) I was brave enough to try the water marble again but with seven different colors. I used red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, and pink. I wanted a real rainbow design. Here are my results...sorry about the HORRIBLE lighting in my bedroom.

I have to admit, but color combination didn't come out as strong as I wanted. I used a golden yellow as my base instead of white, I think the colors would have been more vibrant if I had used the white base...oh well, next time!
This week my nails are turquoise with silver tips and clear circular nail art confetti.

This turned out a lot prettier then I would have ever imagined! I was just playing around with color this time. I had no design in mind. I just wanted to use my turquoise China Glaze polish and my new silver polish. I also wanted to use up some of my clear confetti since I have so much of it. The circles look like the "suction cups" on an octopus' tentacles. I love it! When the circles "catch light", the new color combo creates an "undersea" effect...HARD to explain, but its really pretty and impossible for me to capture on camera...lol, figures.
And yes, my REALLY long nail (ring finger on left hand) finally broke (you can tell the difference between the two pics)...that's ok, it will grow back in two months or so.
CHEERS!
Wanted to do something fun and colorful since last week I only had red, white, and blue.

Lavender, yellow, pink, and lime green rainbow with black tiger stripes.

For the 4th of July I painted my nails red, white, and blue. I used the 'water marble' technique to do them. This was my first time doing this technique, and I think I did pretty good for a first try. Excuse the messiness around my nail and on my cuticles, water marble can get pretty messy and this pic was taken before I had cleaned up.
Happy 4th!

Nails for last week (6/13)
Two shades of Fuchsia color block with pink and silver glitter...VERY dark pic...sorry

Nails for this week...
Black and white polka dots

I bought that Orly polish (White Tips for French Manicures) for the mono-chromatic design. It turned out a little sloppy, only because I was working fast.
I also bought a few more decals...

New nails for the week.

Blue, purple, and pink sheer glitter with pink hearts and purple stars. The glitter is heavy on the tips and fades into the base of the nail. Too busy to post the polishes, maybe tomorrow.

New nails for the week.
Having a BBQ after work tomorrow with my parents and my boyfriend's family. Yay, so I rushed to change my nails early today. I used (From LtoR):
China Glaze 'Purple Panic' and Finger Paints 'Wicked Glitter'. I only applied 'Wicked Glitter' on the tips of my nails and at a diagonal angle. Of course I finished the design with a top coat.
For the BBQ I plan on wearing the new dress that I bought from Old Navy recently. Its a funky grey sundress with neon blue, yellow, and orange large floral design. I haven't worn it yet, but Old Navy has a nice selection of plus size sun dresses this summer. I'm also gonna wear the new black wedges that I ordered from Old Navy. The wedges are very comfy (I was surprised), and the heels are 4 inches. I usually wear anywhere from a 4 inch to 5 inch heel...especially with wedges. I only ordered the black pair this time, but I plan on getting some of the other colors that the wedges came in (purple and white stripe, navy blue, beige and white stripe, pale orange).
Not sure on accessories yet, but I have two new Betsey Johnson necklaces that I got two weeks ago, that I haven't posted yet. I'm thinking about wearing one, maybe the cupcake one. This is such a cute necklace, I hate that none of my pix of it came out too good. The charm is a little cupcake in a silver setting (the wrapper) and the 'cupcake' is a cluster of pink stones with a tiny yellow flower. Its too cute for words!
The other Betsey necklace has a cluster of charms. I love the dark colors of this necklace, but I'm not going to wear it to the BBQ. Its too dark of necklace for the summer.
Today I went to the Container Store and bought a set of 20 clear plastic shoe storage boxes. I thought they would be a good idea to use to store my shoes when I move in with my boyfriend here soon.
I'm glad that I found this set. I have been wanting to get more organized with the closet, and since I'm in the process of moving in with my boyfriend, I know these boxes and many other items from that store would help.
I also bought these hot pink and black leopard print flip flops today while I was out and about.
Also picked up Nicole glitter polish in 'Love Your Life', haven't tried it yet, but I had a glitter/confetti polish like this one before (different brand) and it was always super cute!
Wow..picture heavy post...
Well, that's it for now...CHEERS!★
